I am wondering if my MAF sensor is messed up because sometimes even on a 125hp tune I cant get over 18 lbs of boost. I can stop, cut the truck off, restart and get 32 lbs like normal. I changed out the mouth piece to an LBZ and it has an afe cold air intake that was on it when i got it. I dont know if it needed calibrating or not. Is there a way to know if it needs calibrating or if the sensor is just bad? Any help would be appreciated.

No codes.

Maf dosen't control the boost alone, it has input from the map sensor to help control the vanes. I would clean the MAF and the MAP sensors then see if your issue persists. Chances are if it does there is probally an issue with your vane position, you will neeed to log actual vs. desired, the average should not be more than 5 to 10% off.

I checked it today and it seems like the vanes arent the issue. I am only getting like 4 or 5 grams/lbs on my MAF at idle. I have read stuff saying it should be more like 20 grams/lbs. Does this mean I need to recalibrate it and if so can I do it with EFI Live? I also had a low rail injection code, could that send the truck into a fuel limiting limp mode?

Yes.
Do you have a lift pump and fuel rail shim? If not you need to look in to it to prevent the motor limp.

Its not hard on the pump to have no relief at all? thanks for all the help man.

No what that valve has in it is a set of shims that change the rate or lbs of pressure it takes to let excess fuel return to the tank thus allowing for a grater volume of fuel to be maintains in the fuel rail to prevent the limp. It's good for the pump because it doesn't have to work as hard to maintain rail pressure.

This will quickly become your favorite upgrade for the money trust me.

I know this will get alot of opinionated answers, but whats the best fuel pump to get? I guess most of what I am asking is what size is best?

X2.............It is by far the best electric lift pump.
