having had both, 5" is wayyy better. My 4" droned terribly, my 5" has zero drone.

Why, why, why, would you have a tiny 4" exhaust, when you could have a red blooded, chest thumping, neighbor irritating, all American, Prius driver scaring, turbo scream enhancing 5" exhaust?????

you know a 4" has alot more turbo scream right... and it is significantly louder (pitch wise) if your right next to it.

The point is I like 5" better.

I'm thinkin bout runnin a 4" straight but people and say put a muffler on it. I wanna b able to hear it tho a little n the cab. Could I still with a muffler on it?

You will be able to hear it in the cab, still recommend a straight pipe. I haven't had a muffler since 2007

I'm startin to lean toward a 5" straight mainly just because of sound and another is cause all my buddies have 4" and I wanna have somethin diff. Should I run a tip with it? Would it sound any deeper? What's y'all opinion…?
